Background

I am a licensed psychologist and received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University. I completed a post doctoral internship at Emory Medical School / Grady Hospital. I have been conducting psychoeducational evaluations in private practice for the past fifteen years. I am on the referral lists for most of the competitive private elementary, middle, and high schools in the Metro Atlanta area, including schools that specialize in working with students with dyslexia and other learning challenges.

Prior to going into private practice I worked in both state agencies as well as nonprofit organizations conducting screenings and psychological evaluations on a wide range of patient populations. I supervised interns and post doctoral students, and developed a low cost assessment clinic at a nonprofit counseling center. I currently work part time as a forensic psychologist for the state, evaluating defendants for court related purposes. I am a member of the International Dyslexia Association, Georgia Psychological Association, and American Psychological Association.
